The functionalities that were placed in the test environment (UAT) in the previous release will remain there for now. However, a few new items have been added to the test environment (UAT). Read on to learn more about this release.
UAT Release type: Minor (This release includes no high-risk changes that require additional testing attention on UAT).
Gfacility Test Environment (UAT)
New Features and Improvements
Here are the latest additions and improvements now available in the Gfacility test environment.
Opening Meetings in a New Tab
When you open a meeting from the side panel or by clicking the "open" button, it will now open in a separate tab. This means you can close the tab after editing the meeting, and return to your original search results.
Search Bar Enhancements
Previously, the search bar searched for all keywords together, making it difficult to find specific results. Now, the search bar operates with an OR mechanism, meaning results are shown if they match any of the keywords. This allows you to find relevant results more quickly.
Filter Visibility
Previously, users had to manually activate new filters, which could be confusing. Now, filters are automatically activated in certain situations:
When a new user is added, all relevant filters assigned to the user groups of that user are automatically activated.
When creating a new filter, it is automatically activated for all users belonging to the relevant user groups.
New Notification Rules
To prevent important messages from being overlooked, you can now set notification rules for specific modules where every message is forwarded. For example, you can set up notifications to be forwarded to the appropriate individuals for every
Bugs & improvements
Previously, non-editable fields were displayed in gray, reducing readability. This grayness has been removed, and now non-editable fields are clearly displayed in black text.
When creating a notification, the selectable configuration items were not filtered based on relevant criteria. This has been adjusted, making the selection of items easier and more accurate.
Already on UAT since 11/05/2024
Schedule Board Improvements
The following improvements have been made to the scheduler:
The methodology for selecting filters has been changed to match the other modules, which contributes to a uniform user experience.
Service bookings with the status "declined" are now displayed in red on the scheduler.
Removed restriction on number of symbols
Previously, there was a restriction on the number of symbols allowed in the description field and communication panel. This restriction is removed. So you can use an unlimited number of symbols.
Gfacility Production (PROD)
Bugfixes
Various improvements and bug fixes have been implemented on the production environment:
There was a bug causing cancellations in Outlook to not be correctly processed in Gfacility in some cases. The way changes are handled by Gfacility has been modified, preventing this issue from occurring.
The automatic rejection of services resulted in this rejection not being captured by the trigger of notification rules. This has been adjusted so that the notification rules also respond to automatically rejected services.
Note
The latest changes have been rolled out to Gfacility. Any updates in the productionenvironment (PROD) will be immediately reflected to all users. Changes made to the test environment (UAT) will be transferred to the production environment with the next release (06/07/2024). Gfacility invites you to test these and submit your feedback through the Gfacility support portal using the template UAT Feedback.
