Single-use plastics banned: How Gfacility simplifies the management of reusable cups.

In recent years, there has been increasing attention worldwide for the problem of plastic pollution. One of the biggest sources of this pollution is single-use plastics, which also include coffee cups. From 1 January 2024, there will therefore be a ban on the use of disposable plastic cups and the cups must be reusable.

Companies are currently thinking about the various options, and we see that many people are choosing to switch to reusable cups instead of, for example, tableware. The challenge here is: how do you ensure that the cups return to the right place after use, so that they can be washed and reused? This is where the tokens for deposits come in.

At first glance, the deposit via coins seems to be a good way to ensure that the cups return to the right location. But it can also lead to new problems; Colleagues  lose coins or forget to bring them. This causes them to have to buy a new cup and leads to annoyance among colleagues. This while it is precisely the coffee that should provide a moment of relaxation and meeting.

Based on the slogan 'Manage your new standard', Gfacility is always working to ensure that we come up with solutions to make the working environment better and more pleasant. Many companies struggle with the challenges of the role and function of the office. In this transition to the new role of the office, it is important to prevent additional barriers and to ensure that colleagues are optimally facilitated, the system with physical coins does not contribute to this.

A cup can be added or withdrawn from the account of the colleague in question via a quick digital action at the coffee bar. No one has to carry a coin with them anymore and therefore cannot lose or forget it, which increases customer satisfaction.
